Riyadh, May 12, 2019, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani denounced today subjecting four commercial cargo ships near UAE territorial waters in the Gulf of Oman, east of Fujairah, and in the economic waters of the UAE to sabotage operations. In a statement, Al-Zayani described the event as a serious development and escalation that reflects evil intents of the sides who planned and executed those operations putting the safety of navigation in the region to a great jeopardy and threatening the lives of civil crews working on sea vessels.
