Saudi Grant of $ 10 Million in Aid to Mauritius

Riyadh, May 12, 2019 -- Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah received here today the head of the ruling party of the Republic of Mauritius, Shaukat Ali Soudhan currently on a visit to the Kingdom. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Rabiah handed over the Mauritius official a grant of 10 million US dollars for the operations and activities of rapid intervention to respond to hurricanes struck Mauritius during the current year 2019. The two sides also signed an agreement to distribute 50 tons of dates in Mauritius, in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince to stand by those in need and affected in various countries of the world so as to alleviate their suffering and to provide them with all forms of humanitarian aid and relief. --SPA 17:45 LOCAL TIME 14:45 GMT 0010 www.spa.gov.sa/w1100718
