During the telephone conversation, they discussed means of developing relations between the two countries in all fields. For his part, the Monarch also briefed the German Chancellor on the latest developments of investigation into the murder of Saudi national Jamal Khashoggi, and confirmed that what was done by those involved in this crime does not represent the principles and values of the Kingdom, stressing that justice will take its course fully and resolutely and that whoever found guilty will receive deterrent punishment.
