United Nations, Rabi'I 19, 1439, December 07, 2017, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia today called for closer cooperation between the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, stressing that closer cooperation will play an important role in contributing to building the values of peace, preventing conflicts and promoting understanding through dialogue among followers of religions, cultures and civilizations to promote common values shared by the people of all mankind. This came on Wednesday in the Kingdom's address to the United Nations General Assembly delivered by the Organization Affairs Officer of the Permanent Delegation of the Kingdom to the United Nations Faisal bin Nasser Al-Hakbani. Al-Hakbani highlighted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's great efforts to achieve the goals of international peace and security.
