Saudi Students Win 4 International Awards in Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad 2021

Riyadh, April 26, 2021, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) and the Ministry of Education, won 4 international awards in the Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad 2021, which was held virtually, from 20 to 26 April, 2021, and its results were announced today in Moscow, Russia. Four Mawhiba students won bronze medals, and they are: Mohammed Al-Hadlaq, Mohammed Al-Hudaithi, Abdulaziz Al-Juaid, and Saeed Baghdadi. With this achievement, the total awards won by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad reached 18 awards. It is worth mentioning that this is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ninth participation in the Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad, and the number of medals achieved by the Saudi teams has reached 408 in the fields of science in its annual participations in 17 international and regional scientific Olympiads. --SPA 00:54 LOCAL TIME 21:54 GMT 0007 www.spa.gov.sa/w1549429
