NEOM, April 26, 2021, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired, virtually, here today the 51st meeting of the board of King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives. At the outset, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques reaffirmed the importance of taking care of the national history, diffusion of the historical content for all, acquaintance of it and taking advantage of it, lauding the endeavor of King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives in the 50 years since its inception and the looking forward to it, in the future, in accordance with the Kingdom Vision 2030. Then the meeting proceeded to discuss issues of its agenda and issued the following decisions: Approving the Foundation's strategy and its executive plan for the years 2021-2022, endorsing the policy of preserving the historical receptacle and classifying them and the project for consolidating the national identity through investing in the Saudi identity cards. The board also approved the program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishing the foundation, next year. It eventually ratified the two final accounts of the foundation for the two fiscal years 1441-1442 AH.
