New York, 22 May 2019 SPA - - The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has affirmed that it has been and will continue to believe in the strength of culture and cultural heritage in bringing people and societies together to achieve sustainable development and the importance of preserving the cultural and natural heritage to achieve peace and the joint endeavor with all countries to build a rich cultural future in which various kinds of culture and arts flourish. This came in the Kingdom's speech on Tuesday at the high-level event "Culture and Sustainable Development" hosted by the United Nations on the occasion of World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, which was delivered by the Supervisor General of International Relations at the Ministry of Culture, Dr. Afnan AlShuaibi at the headquarters of United Nations in New York.
