Sydney, Dhu-AlHijjah 11, 1439, Aug 22, 2018, SPA -- A powerful earthquake struck the Pacific island nation of Vanuatu on Wednesday, the US Geological Survey said. The magnitude-6.7 quake struck north of Ambrym island at a depth of around 30 kilometers.
