Saudi Ministry trains Malaysians working in Hajj in their country

KUALA LUMPUR — The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has organized the first training session in Malaysia, which aims to qualify workers to work in Hajj. The Licensing and Training Center for workers in the sector of Service of the Guests of God, affiliated to the Ministry, has organized in Malaysia the first of its kind training session, to train and qualify the workers from outside Saudi Arabia to work during the Hajj before coming from their countries. The Ministry said the training program includes a detailed explanation of the pilgrims" journey, from leaving their countries, passing by all the procedures while performing the rituals, in addition to the skills in managing the crowds during the pilgrimage. The training program has advantages for the trainees, such as obtaining accreditation from the Ministry, as well as supporting and qualifying the trainees, in addition to obtaining an approved professional certificate. The program aims to raise the efficiency of human cadres working in Hajj, achieve integration to keep pace with development in services provided to pilgrims, in addition to strengthening partnership with the private sector. The first training course was attended by a delegation consisting of several government agencies and representatives of the private sector in Saudi Arabia, in addition to the presence of more than 30 leaders of the Malaysian Hajj groups. It is worth mentioning that the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, patronized and attended the training program for workers in Hajj 1444 AH during his official visit to Malaysia.
