Riyadh, Jan. 22, 2023, SPA -- Statement by the Official Spokesperson of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen Brigadier General Turki Al-Malki: “The Houthi militia’s claims of cross-border shelling on (Monnabih) and (Shada) directorates, and the resulting civilian casualties are baseless and unfounded. The Joint Forces Command of the Coalition supports all efforts to extend, then stabilize the truce that ended on October 02 2022. In line with that firm position of support, the Joint Forces Command has exercised the highest levels of restraint against the continuous violations conducted by the Houthi militia’s uncontrolled and undisciplined elements on the borders and in Yemen. These false circulations fall under the continued Houthi allegations within territories under their control.
