The Human Rights Commission (HRC) President Dr. Hala Bint Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri met with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the High-Level Segment of the 52nd regular session of the Human Rights Council in the presence of the Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the UN Abdulmohsen Bin Khothaila. During the meeting, the participants discussed several issues of common interest and ways to enhance cooperation and joint bilateral work between the HRC and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner to improve the protection of human rights. — SPA
