Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received on Tuesday Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal bin Fadhil Al-Ibrahim on the sidelines of the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5), which is being held in Doha, reported the Saudi Press Agency. The minister is heading the Kingdom’s delegation at the conference. The delegation includes representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen (SPDRY), and King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief). The Kingdom's delegation will participate in a number of plenary sessions and high-level meetings, and will host three side events throughout the conference. Minister Al-Ibrahim will hold meetings with senior officials to discuss areas of cooperation to promote economic development in the least developed countries.
