The Saudi-Turkish Business Forum, which the Federation of Saudi Chambers organizes, was launched Sunday in Riyadh in the presence of the Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid Bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, and the Turkish Minister of Trade Dr. Mehmet Mus, with the participation of more than 450 Saudi and Turkish companies and several government agencies in the two countries. In his speech at the forum, Al-Qasabi affirmed that the Kingdom is experiencing unprecedented growth and transformation due to ambitious leadership, a well-defined vision, and the presence of six components and wealth that make it a country of opportunities. He added that the forum would contribute to finding new opportunities for economic cooperation between the two countries, noting the investment opportunities in the sectors of minerals, tourism, housing, infrastructure, services, communications, and digitization in the Kingdom. For his part, Dr. Mus said: “The Kingdom and Turkiye are emerging economic powers and have significant competitive advantages, expressing their aspiration to raise the volume of trade exchange to $10 billion in the coming years.” He added that the Turkish economy is growing at a rapid pace. He said that there is a system of comprehensive investment incentives and a huge market that includes 1 billion consumers in Turkiye, the European Union, and the free trade zone, pointing out that the volume of foreign investment reaches $285 billion. He invited Saudi companies to enter the Turkish market and take advantage of Turkey’s opportunities, investment system, and incentives. — SPA
