The Transport General Authority (TGA) announced the mechanism of booking e-appointment for trucks to enter Riyadh and Jeddah within the banned time during the holy month of Ramadan. TGA said that the trucks who are licensed in the activity of transporting goods can book the appointment via (Entering Cities) service at the Naql e-portal. The trucks will then enter the cities through specified lanes, in order to facilitate their movement during the ban time. The service will contribute in preventing the accumulation of trucks on the cities" main entrances, in addition to organizing and managing the trucks" flow. Additionally, it will raise the efficiency and quality of the digital services in the logistic sector. Transporters can benefit from the truck entry service to cities through the Naql e-portal: bce.naql.sa — through which TGA provides many e-services that support and enable transporters to engage in transportation activities, and the possibility of implementing services with ease.
