Kuwaiti foreign ministry renewed calls for official authorities and all concerned parties in Sudan to take action KUWAIT CITY: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Monday that the residence of its military office chief at the embassy in the Sudanese capital Khartoum was stormed and vandalized. In a statement carried by national news agency KUNA, the ministry expressed “the State of Kuwait"s condemnation and denunciation of the attack on the headquarters of the head of the military office and all forms of violence and vandalism.” The ministry added that the attack was a “flagrant violation of all international norms and rules of international law and the Vienna Convention.” It also renewed its calls for official authorities and all concerned parties in Sudan to “take prompt measures to ensure full protection for the headquarters of diplomatic missions and to punish the perpetrators.” Also on Monday, the Jordanian Foreign Ministry said that its embassy in Khartoum had been stormed and vandalized.
