Portuguese international star Cristiano Ronaldo will lead his Saudi team Al-Nassr against Paris Saint-Germain, in a friendly match in Japan. “This summer, Al-Nassr are coming to Japan, so be prepared,” Al-Nassr wrote on their official Instagram account. The friendly will be played in Osaka, Japan, on July 25, as part of an Asian tour. There will be no head-to-head confrontation between Ronaldo and his old rival Messi, as the Argentine set to leave PSG by the end of this month. Messi is all set to join Al-Hilal of Riyadh shortly. Al-Nassr emerged runner-up in the recently concluded Saudi Professional League season in which Jeddah’s Al-Ittihad claimed the title after a long wait spanning over 14 years. Ronaldo, who joined Al-Nassr in January this year after signing a monster deal, failed to bring home any championships and trophies during the current season. This was the fourth time the Portuguese star finished a season without winning any titles since the beginning of his brilliant professional football career. It is noteworthy that PSG clinched a record 11th French title last week as Messi scored in a 1-1 draw in the match held at Strasbourg. The tour of PSG in Japan includes two more confrontations against Cerezo Osaka on July 28 in Osaka and then against the Italian Inter on August 1 at the National Stadium in Tokyo. PSG played three friendly matches last year against local clubs in front of packed stands, and even the training sessions for the French team drew huge crowds.
