The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef met with French Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade, Economic Attractiveness and French Nationals Abroad Olivier Becht, during his official visit to the Republic of France. During the meeting, the Saudi minister emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the industrial and mining sectors, increasing trade exchange, and developing non-oil exports, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 to diversify the economic base. They also discussed ways to exploit promising investment opportunities offered by the national strategy for industry to investors in the Industrial sector. This visit comes within the framework of the Kingdom’s endeavor to enhance the role of the industrial and mining sectors in the national economy, advance growth paths between the two countries in a number of promising industries, attract qualitative investments, and increase access of Saudi non-oil exports to the French and European markets. Al-Khorayef also met with the French Minister of Economics and Finance Bruno Le Mair, during his official visit to the Republic of France. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the deeply rooted Saudi-French relations and ways to enhance them in all fields. Discussions also reviewed the promising joint investment opportunities between the two countries’ industrial and mining sectors as well as trade exchange and non-oil exports. — SPA
