ARAFAT: Secretary General of the Pakistan Central Ulema Council Shahnawaz Muhammad Sulaiman has praised King Salman for outstanding Hajj arrangements as more than 2 million pilgrims from all over the world are performing the Hajj this year. Sulaiman, who is performing Hajj this year as a guest under the King Salman Hajj Program, said that he was very impressed with the elaborate arrangements. Speaking to Arab News at Arafat, the Pakistani religious scholar said: “I am thankful for this opportunity to share my feelings. Before this invitation as guest of King Salman Hajj Program, I have visited Saudi Arabia twice for Umrah. This is my first opportunity to perform Hajj.” Praising the arrangements for Hajj this year, which is being held at the full capacity for the first time since the pandemic outbreak, Sulaiman said: “All the civil and security arrangements made for the pilgrims here are unique. The efforts made by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the facilities provided by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to pilgrims are praiseworthy. No words can match the exemplary services being provided to the pilgrims here.” He said the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is well appreciated by all for the great work he is doing to provide facilities to the pilgrims. “We were already an admirer of the great work done by King Salman and now this visit is going to further increase the respect we have for him and the Kingdom,” he said. “I really felt good in this spiritual journey to Makkah, and when I will go back to Pakistan after the Hajj, I will share with others about this great opportunity provided to thousands of guests from various parts of the world,” Sulaiman added. “I will definitely share my good experience with the common people so that they come to know about the generosity of King Salman,” he said referring to Hajj arrangements in general for all the pilgrims. He underlined that all the arrangements and health facilities for the pilgrims are praiseworthy.
