Saudi Arabia distributes sacrificial meat to Yemen needy

RIYADH: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, KSrelief, distributed hundreds of portions of sacrificial meat to the poor across Yemen on Wednesday. On the first day of Eid, the center distributed 227 carcasses at the Shaab camp in Aden benefiting 3,178 people. Another 300 carcasses from sacrifices were given out in Marib governorate, benefiting 4,200 people. While in Hadramout 209 carcasses were distributed benefiting 2,926 people. While 120 were offered in Al-Mahra governorate. The sacrificial meat distribution is part of the KSreleif Adahi Project in Yemen for Eid Al-Adha 2023, which aims to distribute sacrificial meat to the displaced, needy, and people with special needs in Yemen. Director general of Al-Mukalla directorate, Abdullah Salem Bayachoot thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, for the Adahi project stressing that this project will contribute to alleviating the suffering of many needy families in Yemen. The project targets the governorates of Aden, Hadramout, Mahra, and Marib and aims to distribute a total of 1,820 sacrifices, benefiting 3,640.
