The successful operation resulted in the seizure of the cargo ship as well as the illegal substances in the Port of Tokyo. This seizure stands as the second-largest drug confiscation ever made in Japan. The joint operation is in line with Dubai Customs’ ongoing effort to combat drug trafficking globally. Dubai Customs Director General Ahmed Mahboob Musabih praised the department’s strong collaboration with other customs administrations around the world.
