Saudi Arabia"s Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Elkhereiji on Monday has met with a number of British officials. Elkhereiji met with Lord Tariq Ahmad, minister of state for the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and United Nations of the United Kingdom. The two sides reviewed the cooperation relations between Saudi Arabia and UK, and ways to develop and enhance them in all fields. The deputy foreign minister also met with the British Minister of State for Development and Africa Andrew Mitchell. They discussed ways of developing the Saudi-British bilateral relations in various fields. Both sides reviewed aspects of economic and development cooperation, and the opportunities to develop them in line with Saudi Arabia"s Vision 2023, in a way that achieves the sustainable development goals of the two countries. Additionally, Elkhereiji met with the Deputy National Security Adviser for International Affairs of UK Sarah MacIntosh. During the meeting they reviewed the cooperation relations between the two Kingdoms, as well as discussing the most prominent regional and international developments of common interest, and the efforts exerted in this regard. All the meetings were attended by the Saudi Ambassador to the UK Prince Khalid Bin Bandar and Prince Saad Bin Mansour Bin Saad, Foreign Ministry"s director general of the general administration for European countries.
