Saudi Arabia"s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan met on Tuesday with his Egyptian, Syrian and Jordanian counterparts at Tahrir Palace in Cairo, Egypt, on the sidelines of the ministerial contact group meeting on Syria. During the meeting of Prince Faisal with Sameh Shoukry, the minister of foreign affairs of Egypt, they reviewed the strong relations between Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and the joint cooperation between them. The two sides also discussed the aspects of enhancing the joint work in all fields, the development on the regional and international arenas, and the efforts made in this regard were also discussed. Prince Faisal met with Faisal Mekdad, the minister of foreign affairs and expatriates of Syria, during which they discussed the latest developments in the Syrian arena and the region. The Saudi and Syrian counterparts exchanged views on issues of common concern. Moreover, Prince Faisal also met with Ayman Safadi, the deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs and expatriates of Jordan. The two sides reviewed ways to enhance the Saudi-Jordanian relations in all fields of joint cooperation. Both discussed many issues of concern to Saudi Arabia and Jordan and serve common interests, in addition to discussing the developments on the regional and international arenas, and the efforts made in this regard.
