Bank Albilad’s Chairman of the Board of Directors Naser Al-Subaiee inaugurated the first of the Bank’s new generation branches in the Al-Hamra district of Riyadh to develop customer banking experience and keep pace with the latest global technologies. This is regarded as the nucleus of a new series of the new generation branches that will cover the Bank’s presence map in all the Kingdom’s regions. Al-Subaiee added that this step embodies the Bank’s strategic trend towards offering the best services to its customers to facilitate obtaining its products and make them available to various segments of customers throughout the Kingdom. This step is also in line with the Bank’s continuous efforts to expand the geography of its branch network. He explained, “Bank Albilad has future plans for opening more new generation model branches in the Kingdom’s different cities and governorates.” For his part, Abdulaziz Al-Unaizan, CEO of Bank Albilad, emphasizes in the speech he gave at the inaugural ceremony that “the inauguration of Albilad’s new generation model branches is part of the Bank’s continuous efforts to improve its services, boost its presence in the financial services industry sector in the Kingdom and keep pace with the aspirations of customers wishing to benefit from its services that meet all banking needs.” He also pointed out that this generation of Albilad’s branches represents a quantum leap in retail banking, which enriches customer banking experience as well as the advanced technological services that the Bank offers to its customers. Al-Unaizan considered the new generation a step in the Bank’s diversification of the banking services offered to the individual sector. He also underlined that the banking technology and workplace in the new generation branches is a major paradigm shift in convenience and service. This will enable the branch staff to provide customers with high quality services. Al-Unaizan suggested that the launch of these advanced branches supported by the latest technologies will transform customer banking experience and reflect the Bank’s strategy consistent with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 regarding provision of the latest global services in the market. All of this confirmed Bank Albilad’s leadership in the banking sector. Al-Unaizan stated, “Albilad’s new generation model branches are smart and high-tech facilities that preserve the environment and reduce carbon emissions.” He also appreciated the pride of Saudi industry, Lucid, the “success partner,” which showcased the electric car charging service as part of the clean and renewable energy sources provided by Albilad’s new generation model branches for customers and users of electric vehicles. He added that the pros of the new branch reflect the Bank’s approach to better service through modern design and most advanced technologies. He also noted that these branches serve a large segment of the Bank’s customers because they are strategically located to be accessible to customers in various cities, regions, governorates and remote villages. The new generation branches aim to provide a unique model of convenient and integrated customer experience and meet the best security standards compatible with the requirements of the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia. The interior design of the new generation is characterized by an open area as the barriers between tellers and customers have been removed. This symbolizes greater customer hospitability and enhances communication. As for the outside, the beauty of the design was taken into account and chargers were made available to offer services to electric cars 24 hours a day/7 days. Moreover, underground parking lots were expanded to accommodate the largest number of customers’ cars. It is worth noting that Albilad’s new generation model branches include advanced display screens showcasing the latest banking products and services. The Bank is careful to use the new generation of ATMs which provide all advanced services and banking operations. The new generation is made up of several main divisions, including a division equipped with electronic services and ATMs and a customer reception division. The external ATM service is designed in a modern way and includes a car passage. Services are also offered to people with special needs to facilitate their access to all the divisions of the branch. A division is also designated for customer excellence service and is equipped with all the services and products this segment needs. The Bank also designates a special section for retail customers and has equipped it with the latest means of display. The new form of the branch creates greater flexibility to serve different segments of customers.
