A Russian missile has hit a postal distribution centre in Ukraine’s second largest city, Kharkiv, on Saturday, killing six people and injuring 14, Kharkiv’s regional governor, Oleh Syniehubov, has said. Writing on the Telegram messaging app, Syniehubov said several of the injured were in a serious condition in hospital. “This is strictly a civilian site,” he said. “The Russians have inflicted more terror on Kharkiv’s peaceful population.” The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, posted pictures from the scene on Telegram of the Nova Poshta building with windows blown out. Russia has not yet commented on the alleged strike.
