LONDON: AlArabia Outdoor Advertising has announced that it has been awarded the contract to manage outdoor billboards in Riyadh, in partnership with Remat Al-Riyadh Development Co. The project, which will be launched in partnership with the Saudi Artificial Intelligence Co., aims to to revolutionize the outdoor advertising landscape in Riyadh by harnessing the power of artificial intelligence technologies and advanced methodologies. “This win confirms the efficiency of our strategy in achieving our goals towards smart digital leadership and attracting alliances that enable us to develop our business and take advantage of the potential of our partners to achieve our future goals,” said Mohammed Al-Khereiji, CEO of AlArabia Outdoor Advertising. According to Al-Khereiji, partnering with SCAI will help in realizing the vision of a smart capital with a focus on digital advancements. He added: “This collaboration will play a significant role in positioning Riyadh among the top 10 global cities.” The primary goal of the project is to transform Riyadh into a digitally advanced and eco-friendly city, fostering a cutting-edge digital advertising industry that aligns with Vision 2030. This includes the introduction of self-operating public washrooms, smart medical clinics, innovative workspaces, and bicycle stations to serve both residents and tourists. The project will also involve the installation of smart air purifiers, high-speed Wi-Fi integrated street lights, technologically-equipped seating areas with solar panels and charging ports, and the development of pedestrian bridges to promote a healthier lifestyle for the city’s residents. The project builds upon the successes of AlArabia’s prior initiatives, including their previous contracts for outdoor advertising in the Eastern region and at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. SCAI has lauded the initiative as an opportunity to advance the technology sector in the Kingdom and elevate its global stature in the realms of modern technologies and AI.
