JEDDAH —The General Administration of Education different regions of Saudi Arabia has announced on Saturday the suspension of classes in schools tomorrow, Sunday, due to the heavy rains. Classes have been suspended in Makkah, Madinah, AlUla, Jeddah, Rabigh, Khulais, Asir, Jazan, and Tabuk. This included all the male and female students from various educational levels, school employees, and education offices. The Administrations said that the classes will be transferred remotely, through the Madrasati platform. The suspension comes in order to ensure the safety of all from the heavy rainy conditions witnessed in most regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The National Center of Metrology (NCM) issued a report stating that Moderate and heavy rain is expected to fall until next Tuesday in most regions of the Kingdom. NCM asked everyone to be careful and stay away from valleys and floods, as well as to follow the instructions of the concerned authorities.
