Over 5,6 million worshippers benefited from the field and guidance services provided in Prophet's Mosque

More than 5,613,215 worshippers and visitors performed prayers in the Prophet"s Mosque in Madinah last week. The worshippers and visitors were surrounded by a number of services that met their needs such as field and guidance services, water services, transportation, breakfast (iftar) for those who were fasting. They also witnessed the organization of their entry and exit through 100 doors throughout the Prophet’s Mosque. This has been revealed in a statistical report issued by the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet"s Mosque, regarding the most notable services provided for the worshippers during the period from Oct. 23 to 30, 2023. The report indicated that 119,651 men worshippers, and 117,382 women worshippers have performed prayers at the Rawdah Al Sharif. A total of 458,298 visitors were honored to greet the Prophet, PBUH, and his two companions, may Allah be pleased with them. The statistical report revealed that 17,330 visitors benefited from the available services for the elderly people, and those with disabilities in the places designated for this category in the Prophet"s Mosque during the 5 main prayers. Furthermore, 2,642 visitors benefited from the communication services which are available in many different languages. The Prophet"s Mosque library has received 10,186 beneficiaries during the available times to benefit from the library’s knowledge services and scientific publications. As for the museums and exhibitions, it has welcomed 3,631 visitors to learn about the stages of architecture of the Prophet’s Mosque and the services available to serve its visitors. The services mentioned in the report also included the provision of 63,438 services to transport the elderly people and women through the golf carts from the courtyards to the gates of the Prophet"s Mosque. About 82,600 Zamzam water bottles were provided for the worshippers during iftar times and throughout the day. A total of 124,276 Iftar meals were provided for the fasting worshippers in the designated places. The report revealed that about 6,145 guidance services provides, as well as there were 4,711 beneficiaries benefited from the unified number and the communication platforms to serve the visitors of the Prophet"s Mosque.
