RIYADH: Saudi Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmad Al-Rajhi on Monday launched the Jadeer program to prepare and train graduates for their nominated ministry positions, equipping them with the required knowledge and experience for the workplace. Al-Rajhi said that the Jadeer program aligns with the ministry’s strategy to enhance job performance, elevate employee skills, and foster global competitiveness, all in line with the goals of Vision 2030. He added that the ministry had implemented more than 80 training programs this year which had focused on enhancing employee efficiency and capabilities through five key performance indicators. HIGH LIGHT Al-Rajhi outlined the ministry’s current efforts, which center on four key strategic directives for human capital development and management, including investment in employee training, enhancing skills, utilizing in-house expertise, and relying on external recruitment only for specialized roles. He added that the ministry sought to boost positive competition among government and semi-government entities, foster a more cohesive work environment, and enhance maturity targets in all HR domains, while serving as a model for other government organizations. Al-Rajhi commended Jadeer program trainees, paying tribute to the role of national talent in advancing comprehensive national development. Ahmad Al-Yamani, the CEO of Takamol Holding, spoke of the significance of the Jadeer initiative in enhancing the skills of graduates, and highlighted the company’s partnership with the ministry to implement the program. Andrea Salvemini, representing the University of California, Berkeley, one of the program’s partners, commended the ministry’s initiatives in preparing and training graduates. She spoke of the university’s commitment to the Jadeer program, pledging to contribute in various fields through a comprehensive training plan. The launch event was attended by Ismail Al-Ghamdi, the assistant minister of human resources and social development for shared services; Mohammed Al-Maghlouth, the deputy minister for human resources; and several officials from the ministry.
