DUBAI: US RnB singer Chris Brown is set to perform at the 2023 Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix.The “With You” singer-songwriter will take to the stage at Etihad Park on Nov. 24, the second night of the Yasalam After-Race Concerts. The singer is the final name to be announced for the line-up, which includes Dutch DJ Tiesto and US singer Ava Max on Nov. 23, Canadian singer Shania Twain on Nov. 25, and the rock group Foo Fighters on Nov. 26. The singer courted controversy last week as it was revealed that he is being sued by a man named Abe Diaw, who claims the singer hit him over the head with a bottle back in February at TAPE nightclub in the UK. In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Diaw claims Chris wielded the bottle like a weapon as he pummeled Diaw over the head with "crushing blows." In 2009, Brown was convicted of beating fellow singer Rihanna, his girlfriend at the time. In 2017, his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran was granted a five-year restraining order against Brown after she shared text messages and voicemails in court where Brown threatened her.
