Harry Kane scored twice in Bayern Munich’s 4-2 victory over Heidenheim to lift them into top spot in the Bundesliga while extending his own record-breaking scoring run in Germany. Kane, who has scored 21 goals in 15 matches in the Bundesliga and Champions League for Bayern, opened his account in the 14th minute with a superb turn and shot in the box. The England captain struck again with a powerful header a minute before the break to become the first player in Bundesliga history to score 17 goals in the first 11 matchdays of a season. Heidenheim struck twice in four minutes after some sloppy defending, with goals from Tim Kleindienst and Jan-Niklas Beste in the second half. But Raphaël Guerreiro quickly restored the hosts’ lead in the 72nd minute and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting headed home their fourth goal in the 85th to lift them into top place on 29 points. Second-placed Bayer Leverkusen, on 28, host Union Berlin on Sunday. Stuttgart’s top scorer, Serhou Guirassy, scored an 83rd-minute penalty to steer his team to a 2-1 victory over visiting Borussia Dortmund on his comeback from injury. The Guinea international, who had been out injured for two weeks after a sensational start to the season, came on in the second half and snatched the winner to make it 15 goals in the Bundesliga. Stuttgart move up to 24 points in third with Dortmund fourth on 21. The visitors had Gregor Kobel to thank for keeping them in the game in the first half after he saved a 10th-minute Stuttgart penalty and then stopped Deniz Undav and Enzo Millot. Dortmund scored with their first chance in the 36th minute as Niclas Füllkrug tapped in at the far post. Stuttgart got a deserved equaliser before the break with Undav finally beating Kobel. Both teams had chances after the restart but it was Guirassy who stole the spotlight with a well-taken penalty to make it two defeats in a row for Dortmund. In La Liga, Girona, the surprise league leaders, won 2-1 at Rayo Vallecano to make it five victories on the bounce. Artem Dovbyk thrashed one in just before half-time before Sávio poached the winner, completing the comeback after Álvaro García’s early strike for the hosts. Vinícius Jr and Rodrygo put on a show at the Bernabéu as they both scored twice to lead Real Madrid to a 5-1 thrashing of Valencia. Madrid opened the scoring in the third minute, Dani Carvajal unleashing a volley from the edge of the box, and Vinícius extended their lead in the 42nd minute when he attempted a diving header but scored with his shoulder. Vinícius struck again shortly after half-time with a shot from range and Rodrygo netted twice after that to put gloss on the scoreline. Hugo Duro scored Valencia’s consolation goal two minutes from time. Real are second on 32 points, two behind Girona. “It was a really great game,” said Carlo Ancelotti, the Madrid manager. “From start to finish we showed all the quality we have, attitude, courage. It was a very well-played game.” Juventus moved top of Serie A with a 2-1 home win over lowly Cagliari as defenders Gleison Bremer and Daniele Rugani scored in the second half to secure a fifth consecutive victory for their side. Juve, who are unbeaten in the league since the end of September, are top with 29 points, one ahead of Internazionale who host mid-table Frosinone on Sunday. Milan squandered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 at Lecce in Serie A as Stefano Pioli’s side extended their winless run to four league games, with Olivier Giroud adding to his side’s woes by getting himself sent off in stoppage time. Giroud and Tijjani Reijnders scored for Milan in the first half before the hosts levelled through Nicola Sansone and Lameck Banda after the break, with what appeared to be a winner for Lecce ruled out by VAR in stoppage time. Milan, third on 23 points, are now six points behind Juventus. Kylian Mbappé grabbed a hat-trick as Paris Saint-Germain moved top of Ligue 1 with a 3-0 victory at fourth-placed Reims. Champions PSG are top of the table with 27 points, one ahead of Nice who played out a goalless draw at Montpellier on Friday. The France forward scored after three minutes, receiving a cross unmarked at the back post and calmly slotting a low volley into the bottom corner of the net. Reims thought they had equalised minutes later when Junya Ito converted a cross, but the offside flag was up. Mbappé doubled the advantage for the visitors in the 59th minute, eluding his marker to tap in a low cross at the far post. Eight minutes from time, the 24-year-old France forward notched his third with a first-time shot from inside the area. The PSG manager, Luis Enrique, believed Mbappé could have done even better. “Kylian was the best in terms of goals. But I think there’s still room for improvement, and we can still ask a lot more of our best players,” he said.
