One of the two persons, who sustained serious injuries in a run over accident in Makkah, was airlifted to King Fahd Hospital in Jeddah. The Medical Transfer and Command and Control Room in the Makkah region received information about a run over accident in which two people were injured in Al-Husseiniyah neighborhood in Makkah. The information was immediately passed to the ambulance team and an air ambulance was readied within a response time of 18 minutes. It was found in medical examination that two persons sustained fractures in the accident and the condition of one of them was serious. Immediately the seriously injured person was transferred to King Fahd Hospital in Jeddah on board an air ambulance while the other one was taken in ambulance to King Faisal Hospital in Al-Shisha, Makkah. The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Makkah region called on citizens and expatriates to abide by traffic regulations and instructions, as well as to avoid over speed, and do not use mobile devices while driving.
