RIYADH: The Saudi aid agency KSrelief has continued its humanitarian efforts to displaced and injured civilians across the globe, distributing aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and persons in need elsewhere, the Saudi Press Agency reported. The center coordinated with the Palestinian Red Crescent to provide supplies in line with the Kingdom’s long-standing solidarity with the Palestinian people. On Monday, in Afghanistan, KSrelief distributed 600 food baskets in Zinda Jan District in Herat Province, benefiting 3,600 individuals, including 600 families, as part of a project to aid those affected by the earthquake in the province. The agency also distributed 1,100 winter bags in the Qalat and Surab districts of Balochistan Province in Pakistan on the same day, benefiting 7,700 members of the most vulnerable families in the coldest areas affected by floods. This effort is part of the second phase of a project to distribute shelter materials for the winter in Pakistan. In Jordan, the agency distributed vouchers enabling beneficiaries to purchase winter clothing items of their choice from approved stores in the Karak and Tafila governorates, benefiting 1,646 individuals, including 248 Syrian refugee families. This is part of the second phase of the winter clothing distribution project this year.
