RIYADH: The Turkish Consul General in Jeddah, Mustafa Unal, and Turkiye’s Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Mehmet Metin Eker have visited the Hira Cultural District in Makkah, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday. During the tour, the officials commended Saudi Arabia for its efforts to enrich the cultural and religious experience of pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors, especially at sites that hold historical importance for Muslims. One of the highlights of the tour was the Revelation Gallery, which showcases the revelations made to the Prophet Muhammad and educates visitors about the history and legacy of his mission. The Hira Cultural District, which opened in January last year, is also home to the Holy Qur’an Museum and other items of cultural significance.
