RIYADH: Najd Falcons won the Saudi Elite Hockey Championship this weekend to become the champions of Saudi Arabia. For the latest updates, follow us @ArabNewsSport The tournament was organized under the supervision of the Saudi Hockey Federation. Jeddah United came in second place, while the Arab Legends team finished in third place. Najd player Mohammed Sameer was awarded the player of the championship title, Ahmed Nabil won the award for the best goalkeeper and Khaled Mahfouz was awarded top scorer with 8 goals. Riham Al-Ajroush, a member of the federation’s board of directors, said the tournament had had a positive impact on the growth of hockey and the development of the sport in the Kingdom. She highlighted that the championship had achieved its desired goals and reaffirmed the federation’s commitment to organizing such competitive tournaments in the future.
