RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s National Platform for Charity Work, Ehsan, will organize its third annual ceremony for donors in Riyadh on Sunday under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The ceremony, which will be held in the presence of Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar, aims to recognize donors and philanthropists in the Kingdom. It will showcase the positive impact of generous contributions on the lives of beneficiaries across the Kingdom. Several key programs and services covering digital solutions will be introduced during the ceremony. Donors will also be briefed on updates to donation campaigns across the Kingdom. This ceremony is part of Ehsan’s mission to promote social responsibility and solidarity, and encourage a culture of charity around the Kingdom. Since the platform launched, it has helped more than 4.8 million people, some of whom will be covered during the ceremony. Ehsan was launched by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority. The platform is overseen by a committee of 13 government entities that adhere to clear and robust governance practices. The platform is part of the Kingdom’s efforts to digitize charitable work and elevate Saudi Arabia as a philanthropic leader.
