TABUK: Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Global, the developer of the world-renowned destinations of The Red Sea and Amaala, has introduced a state-of-the-art robot to clean its beaches. Fully electric and remote-controlled, the robot has been meticulously crafted to deliver comprehensive and remarkable results while protecting the environment, Red Sea Global announced on the X platform. “With the capability to clean 3,000 square meters in just one hour, it efficiently sifts and collects plastic waste and debris, identifying items as small as 1 square centimeter,” the announcement said. With its exceptional flexibility, the machine can effortlessly maneuver around furniture and other obstacles that would pose a challenge for other robots. As planned, by 2030 the Red Sea megaproject will host a collection of 50 resorts, comprising 8,000 hotel units and over 1,000 residential units spread across 22 islands and six mainland sites. In addition to these accommodations, the destination will feature luxurious marinas, top-notch golf courses, and entertainment and recreational facilities. The Red Sea destination welcomed its first visitors in 2023, coinciding with the inauguration of two hotels. Since September, the Red Sea International Airport, the primary gateway to this incredible destination, has been receiving regular flights. ( With SPA )
