He thanked the Kingdom’s leadership for its support of the sports sector. In the women’s competition, Japan won the gold medal, while Hong Kong and Malaysia earned silver and bronze respectively. In the mixed competition, Australia won first place, while Malaysia and Japan came second and third respectively. The Saudi under-21 men’s team won the silver medal. Hong Kong won gold while Malaysia achieved bronze. In the women’s competition, the Saudi national team won the bronze medal in the under-21 category. Hong Kong won gold ahead of runners-up Malaysia. At the junior level, the Saudi team won the bronze medal, while Malaysia and Hong Kong came first and second respectively. During the tournament’s inauguration, Prince Saud thanked Saudi Sports Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal for his contributions to building up national dodgeball teams and making the tournament a success, as it was held on Saudi soil for the first time.
