The actor’s bid was the largest single purchase at the auction, at which the sale of jewelry, cars, horses, and works of art raised $1.8 million for the foundation. “We appreciate this gesture from Adrien, it means a lot to us,” said foundation chairman Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Farhan Al-Saud. “By organizing these charitable auctions, we aim to achieve sustainability in the services provided to people with autism in the Kingdom through an innovative charitable model, with the participation and humanitarian inspiration of all members of society in all their fields.” The foundation is dedicated to serving people in the Kingdom with autism, and offering support to their families. It provides essential services, support, and advocacy, and plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those on the autistic spectrum. A nonprofit organization, it works to raise awareness, offers training and education, and helps to integratepeople with autism into society. Brody, 50, from New York, shot to fame in the 2002 war drama “The Pianist,” for which he won the Academy Award for Best Actor. He is familiar to TV viewers as the eccentric investor Josh Aaronson in “Succession.” A noted philanthropist, he is a prominent supporter of UNICEF, Save the Children and Hollywood Arts, whichworks to rescue some of the 10,000 homeless young people living on the streets of Los Angeles.
