RIYADH: The second group of beneficiaries of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj and Umrah, which is supervised by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, arrived in Madinah on Friday. The group includes 250 pilgrims from 15 countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Serbia, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, the UK, Brazil, and Argentina. The general secretariat of the program has, according to a statement, prepared a “rich and diverse program” for the guests during their stay in Madinah, including a visit to the Quba mosque and other historical and cultural sites across the city before they travel on to Makkah to perform their Umrah rites. The guests expressed their thanks and gratitude to the Kingdom and its leadership for enabling them to visit Madinah and Makkah, and voiced their appreciation for the services and facilities the Kingdom extends to pilgrims. They mentioned that the services had made it easy for them to visit and discover historic Islamic monuments and said that the initiative reflects the Kingdom’s care and concern for Islam and Muslims.
