DUBAI: Australian Lebanese model Jessica Kahawaty takes center stage in a campaign for luxury fashion house Carolina Herrera, designed specifically for Ramadan. For the latest updates, follow us on Instagram @arabnews.lifestyle The campaign features a curated edit of modest wear from the New York-based label, combining distinctive patterns and vibrant color schemes. In the photographs, Kahawaty wears various ensembles. Her initial look features a striking floor-length chiffon dress in a vibrant red hue, boasting long sleeves and adorned with a prominent statement bow tied around the neckline. She also donned a black dress accented with a white collar and embellished with a shimmering CH logo on the chest. Completing the ensemble is a beige clutch featuring the brand’s initials. Adding a playful touch, Kahawaty showed off a colorful printed jumpsuit, cinched at the waist with an oversized yellow bow belt. In other images, the model donned a pink satin set, followed by a vibrant yellow ensemble and a purple linen set. The edit also features a selection of handbags from the brand, which is a New York Fashion Week staple. Inspired by the brand’s 35th anniversary bracelet, the Insignia collection features distinctive gold-plated clasps in the shape of the brand’s initials, adorning a range of clutches, buckets and satchels. Meanwhile, the Lacito Insignia collection reimagines the timeless bow motif, adding a touch of elegance with intertwined C and H clasps. In the ready-to-wear line, the label’s iconic shade of red remains a brand staple, intertwined with the fashion house’s initials across monogrammed co-ordinates and playful prints. The ready-to-wear pieces will pre-launch in the region this week and will be available around the world a month later. Kahawaty has worked with high end brands like Tod’s, Prada, Boucheron, Chloe, Hugo Boss and more. In April 2023, she teamed up with Italian luxury fashion label Versace for a campaign for Eid Al-Fitr. She wore a yellow and gold jumpsuit and matching scarf emblazoned with the brand’s Barocco print, and a pink figure-hugging mermaid style dress that had a matching cape that wrapped around the neck.
