DUBAI: The second day of music festival Untold Dubai, which runs until Feb. 18, featured headline sets from acclaimed Dutch electronic dance music pioneer Tiesto, and his fellow countryman Hardwell, whose performance, according to the festival’s organizers, “ignited the crowd.” Featuring his latest releases alongside timeless classics, Hardwell’s set, a press release stated, “showcased his prowess and solidified his status as a force to be reckoned with in the dance music scene.” More than 50,000 people attended the second day of the festival, which has a huge range of artists from across the world performing, including Major Lazer, Don Diablo, Ellie Goulding, G-Eazy, and Korean music sensation PSY. American singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha was also scheduled to perform on Friday, but had to cancel “due to unforeseen circumstances,” according to an Instagram story she posted on Thursday.
