Geomagnetic storms on the sun’s surface are sending particles towards Earth and creating auroras in both the northern and southern hemispheres. On Monday night this week the aurora borealis, also known as the northern lights, could be visible in northern Britain and in North America, as far south as the midwest. In southern Australia, the aurora australis, could also be visible from Victoria to Western Australia. Wherever you are in the world we would like to see your pictures of the auroras from Monday.
