RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s naval forces on Tuesday received “His Majesty the King’s Ship Hail” at the King Faisal Naval Base, the home of the Western Fleet, the Kingdom’s Ministry of Defense announced. An official reception ceremony took place to mark the arrival of the ship — which came from the manufacturing headquarters in Spain — with Vice Admiral Fahad bin Abdullah Al-Ghofaily, the commander of the naval forces, attending. He added he appreciated the unlimited support for the armed forces from King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and Prince Khalid bin Salman, the minister of defense. The ship is the third of the Sarawat Project, which aims at the manufacture and construction of five naval vessels with specific capabilities to deal with various combat missions with high ability and efficiency.
