The Saudi Arabia General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has authorized China Southern Airlines to operate regular flights between Saudi Arabia and China. The service will commence on April 16, incorporating both passenger/commercial and cargo flights. The airline will operate a total of four passenger/commercial flights and three air cargo flights between Riyadh and the Chinese cities of Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, as part of the initial plan. This development is a significant part of GACA"s continuous endeavors to enhance air connectivity and broaden the Kingdom"s air transport network. It aligns with the ambitious goals set out in the Kingdom"s Vision 2030 and the specific objectives of the Saudi aviation strategy, aimed at expanding international travel and trade routes to and from the Kingdom, thus fostering economic growth and international collaboration.
