Ethiopian pilgrim saved by neurosurgery team at King Abdulaziz Hospital

A specialized neurosurgery team at King Abdulaziz Hospital in Makkah, part of the Makkah Health Cluster, performed a critical operation to save an Ethiopian pilgrim who was experiencing severe weakness in his right side and losing consciousness. The Makkah Health Cluster reported that the pilgrim was diagnosed with a subdural hemorrhage, a serious condition involving bleeding on the brain"s surface. Under local anesthesia, the pilgrim underwent surgery, after which he was transferred to the intensive care unit for close monitoring and necessary treatment. Following the surgery, tests indicated a significant improvement in the patient"s condition, with reduced bleeding and restored consciousness. He also regained movement in the right side of his body. Thanks to the medical team"s efforts and intensive physical therapy, the patient was moved to the internal medicine department to continue his treatment and remain under supervision.
