Crown Prince lauds great Saudi efforts in serving pilgrims

On behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, who is also supreme commander of the Saudi military forces, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, princes, ministers, scholars and sheikhs, guests from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, commanders of the security and military sectors and leaders of the Scout family participating in this year’s Hajj, at the Royal Court of Mina Palace on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, the Crown Prince lauded the great efforts being exerted to serve the pilgrims, saying that this has been instrumental in having a great impact on enabling pilgrims to perform their rituals in ease and comfort in a spiritual atmosphere. “We are pleased, on behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, to congratulate you and all Muslims on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, and we ask God to accept everyone’s good deeds and to return it to us all with goodness, security and prosperity. The state, with all its relevant sectors, will continue to provide everything that will serve those who visit the Two Holy Mosques and help them perform their worship in a secure and safe atmosphere,” the Crown Prince said while praying God to grant success and prosperity, and to continue His blessings on all of them. During the ceremony, Director of Public Security and Chairman of the Hajj Security Committee Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Bassami delivered the speech of the military sectors participating in the Hajj operation. In his speech, Al-Bassami praised the elements of success provided by the state by harnessing all human and mechanical capabilities and the modern technology of artificial intelligence programs, which contributed to facilitating the smooth conduct of the Hajj affairs, as well as to extend the best possible services to the pilgrims. His speech also focused on the accuracy of the implementation of the security plans, which were formulated in accordance with the top standards and foundations of quality in planning and organization. “This produced a great impact on the success of this year’s Hajj until this moment,” he said while highlighting the directives of the wise leadership and its keenness to provide the highest quality services to the guests of God. Col. Mishal Al-Harithi recited a poem on the occasion. The attendees had their lunch with the Crown Prince. The reception ceremony was attended by Prince Mishal bin Majed, advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Saud bin Mishal, Deputy emir of Makkah; Prince Turki bin Muhammad, minister of state and member of the Council of Ministers; Prince Saud bin Nahar, governor of Taif; Prince Saud bin Abdullah, governor of Jeddah; Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki, minister of sports; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, minister of interior; Prince Abdullah bin Bandar, minister of the National Guard; Prince Saud bin Salman, and Prince Khalid bin Salman, minister of defense.
