The General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) has arrested two Pakistani expatriates for their attempt to sell 26 kg of methamphetamine. The two were referred to the Public Prosecution for legal action, the Saudi Press Agency reported. The security authorities called on the public to report any information concerning drug smuggling or selling by calling 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions. They may also contact the GDNC at 995 or through email: 995@gdnc.gov.sa. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality, they said. Meanwhile, the Border Guards patrols in the southern Asir region have foiled an attempt to smuggle 123 kilograms of hashish and 89,355 narcotic tablets. Preliminary legal procedures were completed, and the seized drugs were handed over to the relevant authorities.
