The tournament is one of 21 leading games across 22 global competitions at the Esports World Cup. The eight-week event, which runs until Aug. 25, has a $60 million prize pool — the largest in the history of esports. Competitions also taking place this week are Overwatch 2 and the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational. At $500,000, the latter has the highest women’s prize pool in esports history.
