The Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Insurance Authority, will host the Cultural Insurance Conference at the Cultural Palace in the Diplomatic Quarter on Tuesday. The conference aims to introduce a newly developed cultural insurance product designed to help owners of artworks and other cultural assets in the Kingdom secure, protect, and preserve their holdings. This innovative insurance product ensures financial compensation in the event of accidents that lead to the loss or damage of cultural assets, with coverage commensurate with the damage and fair value of the assets. The conference will bring together officials, CEOs, and specialists from the cultural and insurance sectors, along with individuals interested in these fields. It will feature dialogue sessions with leaders from the Kingdom"s cultural and insurance systems to discuss the concept of "cultural insurance" and its role in creating an environment that safeguards heritage assets. During the event, the Ministry of Culture will also sign an insurance policy specifically for cultural assets. The conference is part of the Ministry"s broader efforts to highlight the cultural insurance product, present risk management strategies for cultural assets and sites, and raise awareness about the importance of preserving cultural assets as a vital part of the Kingdom"s heritage.
