RIYADH — Saudi Arabia condemned in the strongest words Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s incursion into the Jordan Valley in the West Bank. The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom’s strong condemnation and rejection of the blatant incursion carried out by the Israeli prime minister by encroaching on the Jordan Valley area of Palestine, in a provocative attempt aimed at expanding settlements that violate all laws and international legitimacy resolutions, the Saudi Press Agency reported. Saudi Arabia stressed that these violations do not serve the efforts to calm the situation and provide protection for civilians in all Palestinian territories. The ministry reiterated its emphasis on the importance of stopping the aggression on Gaza, withdrawing the occupation forces, returning the displaced, and bringing in humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people. Saudi Arabia also renewed its call on the international community to assume its responsibilities by putting an end to all blatant Israeli attacks on the Palestinian territories and the Palestinian people. The ministry stressed the importance of activating international accountability mechanisms that contribute to stopping Israeli violations that threaten security and undermine peace efforts in the region.
